Our customer is looking for a lead-level Senior Amazon Platform Architect to help lay out the strategy and subsequently migrating the customers Development and QA systems to the Amazon Cloud. The systems are primarily Microsoft Windows and Windows Development tools.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience in cloud technologies, private or public, including experience of working with AWS in any project in any capacity
- Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS along with Private, Public and Hybrid Cloud technologies along with hands-on experience in cloud technologies, operating systems, migration and scripting
- Hands-on working knowledge on AWS including deployment, formation templates; Puppet Scripting is a must
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required, but will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
Preferred knowledge and experience:
- Product expertise on Amazon AWS and related products of AWS
- Experience in defining cloud reference architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint
- Good analytical skills
- Experience in defining strategy for the usage and adoption of cloud computing based upon qualitative business benefits
- Experience in creating Reference Architecture documentation on the types of cloud computing models that should be used for different scenarios
- Experience in defining framework and assessing application portfolio for cloud-based hosting
